Hello hello! ♥My name is Ruwyn, but you can call me anytime er, Ru! I'm a sprout who decided that Housing (Savage) was the real endgame. I've done my time of hardcore raiding in other games and simply wanted to take it easy since that made me happiest.I am addicted to GPOSE, Housing, and making sure people around me are happy.

Pre-ARR:
As a child, Ruwyn was frail and ill, never being allowed to leave the house. Her parents prayed to The Twelve and pleaded on her behest for years to no avail. Finally, after a humble offering of the land's harvest despite the middle of the coldest night in winter, Nophica visited Ruwyn's dreams, and she was shown visions of wondrous cities and vast shimmering deserts, as well as distant lands blossoming... yet tumultuous.Upon the next morning, her lungs felt clear, and her limbs could ambulate without pain. With this newfound rejuvenation, Ruwyn felt immensely grateful, and dedicated herself to the Matron's benevolence. Her first order was to start exploring and appreciating the land.She could finally walk, but it took months before she set out from Othard to visit the other continents and pay homage to her guardian deity, whilst searching for ways to end Calamities and where they might be. This led to her obsession with books, becoming a scholar in the hopes of reading something that may prove useful.She ended up falling in love with how beautiful Eorzea was, and wanted to capture people in the peak of nature's grace everywhere. With her handy camera and a plethora of outfits in her wardrobe, this Warrior of Light is more than happy to take friends everywhere with her - be it rain or shine - just to make them smile with her photographs.

Parents:
Both of Ru's parents were originally citizens of Dalmasca, and bonded just before it was captured by Garleans. Fleeing together and barely escaping with their lives, they travelled North into the snowy Skatay Range mountains, where their ancestors' clans were from.Even though Ruwyn left her home in search of preventing the calamities in her nightmares, every Heavensturn, she makes a trek to Othard to show her parents the friends, photos, and new books she gained.She is still the only child, but she learns that her parents take care of the orphaned children in the clan, making sure that even the males that hit puberty go out to venture safely.

ENDWALKER SPOILERS AHEAD!

6.0 - 6.1:
The prospect of going to Old Sharlayan only made her want to explore the restricted section of the library to find out about things, but was disallowed as other tasks took precedence, and the whole debacle with not being a student/Archon vexed her. She decided to be a sage in the hopes of gaining favour with them, too, but has not been able to explore it to this day.Those visions she experienced - seeing the skies splashed crimson - screams of the innocent and devastating swarms of voidsent were exactly what she saw in her crackled nightmares from before. However this time, it was fervent with increased frequency and intensity. This only struck more fear in her heart, and with every new area she had to go to, Ruwyn's faltering and hesitations that ended up bringing pain and loss to others made her distraught.Finally, with Ultima Thule, and her having to lose her fellow Scions... was the point she thought she'd break. She wanted to be consumed by it too, and sit by the dragons, waiting for the end. But all this sacrifice, all this pain... for the glimmer of hope to once again see those beautiful sceneries of lush vegetation and flora? She thought of her coming this far, of how she couldn't even walk if her parents just... gave up. That gave her enough strength to remember why she could walk this day, and she mustered everything she could, thinking of her parents.In the end, she is still worried that her visions haven't gone away forever. Sleep eludes her sometimes when she keeps thinking about it, but she hopes that with this "End of Days" kept at bay, what the visions showed her has been quelled. She also is unsure if it was Hydaelyn who meddled with Nophica's blessing, or does her guardian deity have more to tell her...?
